About Kronplatz

Kronplatz — known in Italian as Plan de Corones — is a unique mountain in the South Tyrol with its summit plateau at 2,275m accessible from three separate valley bases: Bruneck/Brunico, St. Vigil/San Vigilio di Marebbe, and Reischach/Riscone. The resort is celebrated for its innovative lift infrastructure — including a futuristic summit station housing the Lumen photography museum — and its 119km of well-groomed piste suit intermediates and strong beginners particularly well. The South Tyrolean blend of Austrian and Italian culture creates a distinctive atmosphere in the valley villages, with excellent food drawing equally from the German and Italian culinary traditions of the region.
