About Les Deux Alpes

Les Deux Alpes is built on a ridge at 1,650m between two valleys in the Oisans massif, its ski area climbing to 3,568m on the Dôme de la Lauze — Europe's largest skiable glacier accessible to the general public — which keeps the resort open from late November through late April and enables summer skiing. The 220km of piste divide clearly by level, with the glacier providing easy high-altitude terrain and the lower mountain offering steeper, more interesting runs for intermediates and experts. The resort has a young, energetic atmosphere shaped by its strong snowboard heritage and remains one of the best glacier destinations in France.
