About Nassfeld

Nassfeld is Carinthia's largest ski resort, perched on the Austro-Italian border at the Nassfeld pass with 110km of piste that include some of the longest uninterrupted descents in Austria — the Millennium run drops over 1,400m vertical from summit to valley. Its southern Alpine position brings generous sunshine and a Mediterranean warmth to après-ski culture that differs markedly from the more commercial Tyrolean resorts, while the relatively low profile among international visitors keeps lift queues short and prices reasonable. The drive from Klagenfurt airport takes 90 minutes through scenic Carinthian countryside.
