About Lotte Arai

Lotte Arai Resort sits high on the flanks of Mount Myoko in Niigata Prefecture, operating at one of the highest average base altitudes in the Myoko region and benefiting from some of the deepest natural snowpack in Japan. Reopened and extensively redeveloped by Lotte in 2018 after a decade-long closure, the resort now offers a premium on-mountain experience with modern gondola access, a luxury hotel at the base, and runs that wind through stunning old-growth beech forest. Its position makes it an excellent companion resort to neighbouring Myoko ski areas for those seeking variety in the region.
