About Sauze d'Oulx

Sauze d'Oulx is the Italian anchor of the Via Lattea ski domain — the 'Milky Way' — a 400km cross-border ski area linking five resorts including Sestriere, Sansicario, Clavière, and the French resort of Montgenèvre. Perched at 1,509m on a sunny balcony above the Susa valley, the resort offers broad, open intermediate terrain with excellent views and a reliably sunny microclimate that often delivers spring conditions from February onwards. It earned a boisterous reputation among British skiers in the 1980s and 1990s that has since mellowed, and today it offers solid intermediate skiing, easy access from Turin airport, and the genuine warmth of a small Italian mountain town.
