About Aspen
Aspen is four mountains in one — Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk, and Snowmass — covering 330km of combined terrain that ranges from the steep, mogul-laden Face of Bell on Ajax to the vast intermediate cruisers of Snowmass and the gentle learning slopes of Buttermilk. The town of Aspen itself is a cultural institution, pairing world-class skiing with gallery openings, acclaimed restaurants, and celebrity sightings in a compact Victorian downtown. Highlands Bowl, a 45-minute hike above the top of Aspen Highlands, is one of the most coveted and challenging in-bounds descents in North America. The price of all this — lift passes, accommodation, and dining — is among the highest of any ski resort on the continent.
