About Loveland
Loveland Ski Area straddles the Continental Divide at Eisenhower Tunnel — a position that delivers some of the most reliable above-treeline snow conditions in Colorado and one of the highest base elevations in the state. Its 1,800 skiable acres are split between Loveland Valley, a gentle base area well suited to beginners and families, and Loveland Basin, where open bowl skiing and consistent expert terrain attract Front Range locals who know the mountain intimately. Loveland has resisted the consolidation of the major pass programmes and kept its lift ticket prices significantly below its Summit County neighbours, making it a genuine value option for those willing to forgo a resort village in favour of a pure ski area. The consistently cold, dry snow quality at this elevation is among the best in the state.
