About Snowmass
Snowmass is the largest of the four mountains that make up the Aspen Skiing Company portfolio, with 3,332 skiable acres spread across a vast, varied mountain that accommodates every ability level more comfortably than the other Aspen peaks. Its enormous Elk Camp area and the long, winding runs of the upper mountain provide exceptional intermediate skiing, while The Cirque and the Expert Zone off the Hanging Valley Wall deliver steep, technical terrain for advanced and expert skiers. The Snowmass Base Village, significantly rebuilt following a long development project completed in the early 2020s, now offers ski-in, ski-out accommodation and dining that rivals anything in Colorado, and families in particular find the scale and layout of Snowmass more navigable than the intensity of Aspen Mountain itself.
